Basement Browns - Return of the Cov Bloggers

Ad: Gifted Experience

I was thrilled to be invited back to Basement Browns with the Cov Bloggers, if you read my last review you’ll know how much I loved it so I was keen to try the gluten free menu now I can’t eat wheat.

I’m a huge pizza fan and I’ve found I’m more limited on options now but Basement Browns had a brilliant gluten free menu that had so much choice on it. If I didn’t fancy one of the pre-created pizzas I could build my own so I can have pretty much what I want without the stomach ache after, definitely a winner!

I opted for one of the BB Legends Pizza with parma ham and rocket which was stone baked to perfection. A thin, crispy base and fresh toppings in an inbetweener size left me very happy and comfortably full. The whole spread looked amazing, I tried some of the sides too which were also delicious and the other pizzas also looked so tasty. Presentation is great too, making a delicious pizza even more appetising.

I’m gutted they don’t deliver to my area but the restaurant is lovely to visit, a relaxed atmosphere with natural tones and the open kitchen with its wood fired oven. The drinks are great too, I had a small white wine with my food and tried a couple of the mocktails after whilst I was chatting with the other bloggers. The Mango and Pineapple crush was so good and really refreshing. The Strawberry & Lime Fizz also taste lovely but it does have bits of fresh fruit in there which I was fine with but one to avoid if you aren’t keen on bits in your drink. The cocktails looked pretty impressive too but I didn’t taste those so will have to leave the judgement up to you if you go!

Thank you Cov Bloggers and The Empowerment Agency for organising and Basement Browns for hosting. Definitely one I’ll be back to again.

Dawn x
